Sustainable baskets in Murcia

As every year, on September 8th the 3x3 basketball tournament organized by Astrapace was held in the Plaza de la Merced in Murcia. This association, dedicated to the care and treatment of people with cerebral palsy and similar conditions, offered us a day full of excitement and competition between the participating teams.

But the event was not just about basketball. It also highlighted the commitment to important values such as sustainability and community support. At LAKEN, we are delighted to have collaborated on this very special event. We donated aluminium bottles, underlining our effort to reduce the use of single-use plastics and promote greener alternatives. Each bottle helped keep participants hydrated and reaffirmed our commitment to the environment.

The Plaza de la Merced vibrated with the energy of the teams and the excitement of the Murcians who surrounded it. It was a great opportunity to unite the community, support a noble cause and show that fun and sustainability can go hand in hand.

We would like to thank Astrapace for making this event a part of our lives and everyone who attended for making this day a memorable experience. At LAKEN, we will continue to promote sustainability and support events that benefit our community.

Here's to more events like this and continuing to make a difference together!
